    Big Agnes takes a unique approach: their sleeping bags have no insulation on the bottom; instead they rely on Big Agnes' sleeping pads (sold separately) to provide the required insulation beneath your body. The result is healthy weight savings. We at Mountains Plus think the Yampa is a good choice for summer backpacking, and Outside Magazine agrees. And the weight (less than 2 lbs) works for us as well. Heck, put the Yampa together with the Big Agnes Seedhouse Superlight 1 and you've got your camp put together for less than 4.5 lbs (even less if you go with the Fast Fly for the Seedhouse!). Works best with Big Agnes' rectangular pads. Fits up to 5' 10", inseam 34", chest 44". Bag weight = 1 lb 11 oz. Gray/Blk/Blue.

    We recommend getting a Big Agnes Girdle with your new sleeping bag so you can compress it down nice and small when you pack up your gear for the trail.
